Thread Topic: Roses and thorns of your day

So my 6th grade science teacher made us say a rose and a thorn, a rose being a good thing and a thorn being a bad thing, to the class. So any time you want come and leave a rose or a thorn in this thread. It can be something that’s happened in the past month if you don’t have a rose or a thorn that day. Ill go first for a demonstration:
Rose-
I got to talk to my crush in History today.
Thorn-
I feel like I’m betraying my friend by going to a sleepover birthday party that goes into her birthday when it’s not even the person throwing the party’s birthday. -
Rose: My friends and I are planning to watch the Taylor Swift movie, eat dinner, and maybe go shopping together tomorrow.
Thorn: Protests in the country I’m living in keep getting worse and more violent so we might not be able to go. -
Rose: I've been able to spend time with friends and God recently, also ate a very nice pie
Thorn: Don't know how to describe it all, but things are kinda difficult rn -
Rose: I finally paid of almost all my debts, looking to a new house, birthday and a friend.
Thorn: I had to sacrifice alot which is gonna affect me on the long run -
rose: i’m eating SALMON !!🗣🗣🗣
thorn: i have a cold so i can barely taste it. 😔 it’s so over gang -
Rose- I have a birthday sleepover and my friends and I now have an inside joke (I called her Bellatrix and she hasn’t killed me yet!)
Thorn- I haven’t packed anything for a sleepover in 2 hrs and by the time I get home (I’m on the bus) I will have like less than an hour to shower pack and look decent. -
Rose- I now have an excuse to say I may have my crushes phone number bc of a mutual friend 😅.
Thorn- my crush may be catching on that I like him bc my friend started calling him out for staring at us again (I’ve caught him staring at me like 3 times technically)
