Or which one to you use the most/which ones are you still struggling with but trying to develop?
I find grounding to be very helpful when I'm having a panic attack or am overstimulated. It helps keep me in my body. -
both of those are so difficult, i really hope you find something that works for you. i wish i had advice or any form of helpful commentary but honestly i struggle with those myself. you aren't alone in how you feel, effie.

The way I cope is by crying or getting myself out of my own head/thoughts if that helps!

I haven't really done any proper coping, since things haven't been very bad for me in the past month, but when it was bad, I would either age regress or s*lf h*rm.
s*lf h*rm is more of a thing of the past, though. I've been clean for nearly a year now, so yasss very slay /lh -
I usually find a song I'm obsessed with at the time, and try to create a character/universe around it while listening to it on loop, finding different ways to interpret certain lyrics/twist the story around

one of the coping skills i use is age regression .. uhnngjrj don’t make fun of me or anything, it just calms me down
(it’s just kind of a little thing i don’t normally tell anyone, but i trust a lot of ppl on gtq) -
The way i cope is to stuff my face with frosting :D
-
Lots of ways but I'd say the most helpful one is usually drawing sense it helps boost my self esteem along with improving my skills. 🎨

Usually the Way I Cope is to play DS Games or Drinking Pepsi.

Guys, please only post serious answers. This thread is for sharing coping skills, not silly bs. Please respect the purpose this thread was created for. /nm

Listening to or making music
Or watching people suffer. Somehow, it helps -
Quiz, watching people suffer is not a safe or genuine coping mechanism. Please read the post directly above yours and use more consideration. People use coping skills to manage mental illness, negative emotions and trauma. It is a serious subject and although there may be a place and time for such jokes, this is not it.

sorry if my previous post was insensitive or ignorant
genuinely, i enjoy doing arts and crafts when i'm upset. it's important to cut yourself some slack and remind yourself that it isn't to be "good" but to help you in that moment, so i try to focus on the process instead and see where that takes me
