Using your hobbies as a distraction is a wonderful coping skill to fall back on. None of my posts were directed at you, but rather piglin & quiz.

Maybe take reading into consideration to. It helps occupy ur mind along with building skills on reading and creativity. My personal favorite book series is Invader Zim comics or warrior cats.

Im quite hot headed to maybe take journalism into consideration. Write about how u feel and wut is making u feel that way then try to write positives about urself to make u feel better. Hope that helps.

Effie: I find that verbally processing my emotions and identifying triggers help me ease how overwhelming my feelings can be. It really depends on the situation and the people involved, but sometimes the best thing to do is step away and process. Not always possible though.

sorry about my previous post. Correction: My HEALTHY coping mechanisms are age regression, and I think drawing, reading and listening to music are minor things that I also use.

Thank you, that's a good tip, I appreciate it. I do find that stepping back helps but I am afraid sometimes that stepping back will cause things to get worse or like end immediately, but when i take a step back it helps a lot. It gives me time to think about what i want to say
