Today I learned that a lot of medications including ADHD and some depression medications were only clinically studied on male rats because the female rats had hormones that "messed up" the trials.
As you can imagine, human females work the exact same way so if you ever felt like your medicine stopped working during parts of the month that is why.
Also reminder to check the side effects on your meds. Some have super weird ones like if you eat a grapefruit on psychiatric meds, especially bipolar medication you can hospitalize yourself.
