Maybe I went a little off on a tangent
What I was trying to say was simply that ignorance occurs as an excuse for hatred or distrust (not saying it's right)
If someone doesn't know the story behind someone's being then their ignorant.
Therefore, in their mind it creates a reason do not take the other person seriously due to the fact somebody can just put a label on them self. In the world we live in there are people who fake disabilities and that means there's people who won't take it seriously. It's a sad thing yes but it's what happens whenever there's a weird positive stigma behind having a disability. But now I'm not saying that people have to tell others their life story but I'm saying that is a way to lower the amount of bias. There's probably other ways that I don't know of. And this doesn't go for just mental disabilities It can go for anything that the public sees as weird or something. It's simply a way but not the only.
It basically traces back to the quote "one thing I know is that no man is good or evil for every man is a book"
