When I watched that movie in the theatre with my mom, she leaned over to me and said "You should listen to her" during Mother Gothel's villain song.
Like seriously, she related to Mother Gothel and thought Mother Gothel was a good mom the entire movie, and didn't stop to think how that reflected back on her -
My mother did the same thing and always loved Mother Gothel and found her to be such a great mum. I remember she'd always sing that villian song after hearing it and say how right Mother Gothel was lol
