Are people pretending like I’m their friend? What if they’re really saying stuff behind my back, or thinking bad thoughts about me :(

I’ve had a lot of people betray my trust, so I’ve stopped trusting people with my secrets. I feel lonely

I don't know how many times I've felt that. I've wondered if the friends I have aren't actually my friends and simply tolerate me.

It’s loneliness, even though I have so many people around me to talk to.

So why exactly am I lonely?

To me, loneliness is not being alone. It's feeling alone.

I agree! For example, I also feel alone when people are around me... I tell myself my emotions are worth nothing, though. Let me tell you! Don't do what I did....

Also, if your friends do talk behind your back, then they don't deserve you, and they don't know what you're really worth. You are you, and you should be proud of it.
