i chose the second option too because there's still a chance everyone will live, and i tried to be optimistic

B probably. I mean, there's only 33.3% chance that it would work with numbers like that and even if it didn't, 600 isn't that much compared to how many people die everyday from natural causes, murder, sickness, etc. it's nice to take that chance but even then, six hundred compared to the population of the world? Most wouldn't care, but just because it's because of a disease, (oh no! Ebola!!!!) people are going to freak out when they usually wouldn't bat an eye. I mean, on average, 6,316 people die each hour and more are being born to replace them. It's just life. Sometimes we can't stop what's coming to us, but it's still nice to try, which is why I'd take B.
