TW: Literally this whole thing is about me smoking weed. If you're gonna judge, consider the back button your door out.
Alright. First things first: I'm sixteen. Yeah. I'm aware that my brain isn't fully developed and smoking excessive amounts of weed could harm it. Gotcha.
Second: I've been actually high twice. Although it was enjoyable, I don't think I'll be doing it again anytime soon. I just want to see if any of you have had similar experiences. It was honestly super fascinating.
Third: I smoked with my sister and her boyfriend. We used his homemade bong, and I took two HUGE hits both times. It burnt like f---, I drooled and coughed an embarrassing amount.
-When I was actually high the first time, I thought my head was going to explode. It felt like my skull kept getting thinner as my brain expanded. Somewhere inside my mind I was aware that this was impossible.. But it was still a bit scary. It didn't happen the second time.
-Both times, my head felt like a lot of weight was leaning to one side, as if someone was slowly piling bags of sand against a side of my skull. I didn't notice I was leaning over until I COMPLETELY fell. This was more funny than scary. I couldn't stay sitting up and I couldn't get back up by myself. When I tried to take a shower, I fell out of it twice. That part was a bit scary.
-The first time, I saw what my sister's boyfriend described as 'tracers.' I think perhaps he was just making up names for what was happening to try and convince me to calm down. Anyways, basically anything that moved left blurred images behind. When I closed my eyes, they solidified into electric blue lines against the background of my eyelids, sometimes forming shapes- a rabbit, a wolf. This didn't happen the second time.
-However, the second time, my jaw kept locking up. If you've ever ate something reaaaally sour, kinda like that. It didn't hurt. It just felt odd. The first time it had happened whine I was eating a granola bar. (I get the munchies, lol.)
-The second time, when I was trying to fall asleep, I was listening to music. I was having lucid dreams but I couldn't control them without physically moving my body. (Thrashing around in my bed to the beat of New Perspective by P!ATD was interesting.) The dream was odd. I was being buried and the lower I sunk, these blades started cutting through my calf bones. I swear I could feel it. It didn't hurt.. It wasn't scary, I knew it wasn't real. But it was still odd, like a tingling/burning sensation?
-I felt like my eyes weren't matched up.. Like they were focusing on different things? It made my head hurt, honestly.
-I was aware of my actions at some level. I'd say something and think "I'm talking to loud" or "that was stupid" but wouldn't be able to stop being loud or stupid. Luckily my sister kept me under control lol.
-**MOST IMPORTANT THING** I think my muse was communicating with me while I was high. I know for most people, their muse is an actual person who inspires them. Mine is this a--hole who lives inside my head. While high, I had a several GENUINELY GOOD ideas that I feel the intense need to write down. My head wouldn't stop hurting until I did.
Like, I'm sure there's some scientific explanation for all of this, but I'd like to know if any of you have ever experienced any of this? -
Why would you publically release information about your weed smoking habits while you live in a state that currently still prohibits recreational marijuana?
Not trying to be salty, but that's just dumb asf. -
I've never smoked weed, but I recognize your symptoms from my friends who do smoke and from my experience with other things. It all seems perfectly normal. Also, smoking marijuana gives you what you call "cotton mouth", if you didn't know, so you can expect that to happen.

Thank you for your concern, but as I said, I don't plan to be smoking again any time soon. If they were to drug test me right now or any time in the future, I'm clean. And I don't carry it around or sell it, so I'm fairly safe. Trust me, I thought about this.
Ugh, are you talking about my mouth feeling like it was absolutely dry? God, that sucked balls. I couldn't drink enough to get it to stop.. -
I found this website that said that sucking on hard candies will help, as well as drinking small amounts of water at a time (as opposed to chugging it on the spot). It also said that sugary drinks/soda pop will make it worse.
I know you said you don't plan on smoking again anytime soon, but here's the source if you change your mind. -
Honestly it helps with anxiety a LOT?? If you have anxiety and it's legal where you live, def look into it. I'm waiting until it's legal here/I'm eighteen to even think about doing it again, but honestly it really does help and I 100% support it.
Thanks, Seth.
