  I don't really have an opinion on this subject I just want to see what you guys think
  
  I don't know if my logic makes sense though
  
  "No because if you put a murderer up on death sentence, if it's illegal to kill, why is the government allowed to kill? Sounds like hypocrisy to me."

  I agree that it's a pretty big hypocrisy. I do not support the death penalty. It's enough for criminals to rot in jail where they can never harm law-abiding people ever again.
