So I went into a mental health facility some weeks ago. Before I was able to go home, we had to have a family therapy session.
I hated it. So much.
The only issue that was resolved was about my girlfriend and I guess it's a good thing that we cleared that up, but other than that, they just brought up things that made me cry and then told me I shouldn't be crying and nothing came from it.
Also, my therapist was kind of getting on my nerves because I would stop talking amd not answer questions for a while, and she sat there making up reasons for it when
No
You moron
That isn't it at all
"What I see is that you're shutting down because you want to get out of here faster, but I'll let you know that won't happen."
Lolno I'm just taking a moment to compose myself and contemplate what I'm going to say and how I'm going to say it. Give me a second, you presumptuous fool.
She did that multiple times and I just-
Sigh
I couldn't tell her that in the moment either because I was still in the act of gathering myself.
Also, the fact that I cried so much in front of all my parents makes me want to shoot myself.
It was awful.
I'd rather have my nipples slowly ripped off than have to go through that again.
Therapy in general is kind of cringy. I kind of like individual therapy, though. Like the time my old therapist taught me about mindful meditation. That was nice.
But then she sent me to the looney bin. So y'know. -
I have. Kinda. With me and my mom.
