But honestly if you're taking a drug to cure an illness would you rather suffer with said illness or take the side effects which may not even be too bad? Normal side effects to most drugs are things like fatigue

To be honest I had a little bit of an issue with pain medication because after I got prescribed stuff for my knees I just kinda didn't want to stop taking stuff like it. I take it when it is isn't nnecessary and it can make your drowsy and shiz. So I guess it kinda depends. If you're like me and take it to get the head somewhere else, they probably aren't good for you. If you're abusing heroin or something, yeah, bad. If you have an illness and use the meds, good.

Harmful
Its not bad because people can use them for medication.
