I teared up watching a video of what looked like a high school and teens playing around and laughing over anime. It reminded me of when I was in 8th grade, the best time in my teenage life. It felt more stable, going to school, had a group of friends I hung around with, talked, and made jokes. It was school but it was tolerable. Because being with your friends and having a couple cool teachers made it cool.

It was the only year of my life where I felt like things were going to calm down and I'd have a permanent home. And then my dad got orders for Hawaii and my whole life was turned upside down. I know that Maine is the place I need to be but I fuking miss that feeling of regularity. Feeling like school was actually livable and at times fun.

This was mainly a venting thread. I guess the point is growing up sucks sometimes and everybody has troubles, but it does get better, it just takes HELL OF A LONG TIME. lol patience child, patience.
