Emotional people sort of weird me out because I don't have any clue what it is they stand for or what makes them tick. They are a hidden gem.
-
OnlyaGlitch NewbieI guess you are right Jade... I kindof dress weird too ( I am getting a Mohawk soon and die my hair purple) but, society is annoying at the same time. Thinking being a whore is "awesome" but being emo is idiotic? It just offends me.

Emo*

"Whore" Funny you use terms like Gay, and whore as insults yet you get upset when Emo is insulted..nothings wrong with being either one.
Practice what you preach,please. -
do you know why most people make fun of them? because most of them are attention whores who dont actually have anything wrong with them. and, not to be racist, but do you ever see any BLACK people who are emo? i know ONE out of my entire high school. y'know why there are less black emos than there are white? because most white teenagers are whiny, lazy, complaining 5 year old kids who cant handle their own first-world problems. i feel no sympathy for these kind of people, and i can tell a difference between those who are attention whores and who are actually depressed. and when i see those who actually NEED help, i'll be nice to them and give them some respect to improve their day.
long story short, 95% of emo kids are fake, and IDGAF. -
Absol@ that is quite a statement you are making there. You claim that most American teenagers are whiny brats but that only exists in particular areas. People now days don't chastened there children and allow them to grow up with lack of morals and high sprite urges.
Most "emos" come from family's that chastened their children and disipline them, they also USUALLY come from family's that allow there children to make their own choices as they grow.
For example* I have known this girl who fits the "-typical American " steriotype my whole life. Her parents never restrain her and take no personal pride in her, yet they push her into multiple situations where she must curve to their wishes, even though she has a mind of her own. (Her parents are pushing her into acting and singing though she is tone deaf and has no model qualitys when she wants to pursue a career as a chemist)
Then, we have my other "emo" friend who has a mother who disiplines her and still allows her to make her own personal life choices and choose her own path. She is respectable, and mature, and compassionate and really has a genuine personality.
I am not saying this is true to all people and their are quite a few "fake emos" (including my "average America" steriotype's friend) but lashing out at all emos because of some obscure prejudice is dumb and invalid.
just saying. -
@Alice paa: right, i get what you mean. i can totally respect where you are coming from. and im not saying all "emo" kids are fakes. im just speaking from personal experience. and the "emo" kids who are chastened and disciplined are the kind i can feel for. i know what it feels to be controlled and put under rule while growing up. the ones who i DONT feel for are those who grow up living a life with their own decisions. but back to the topic at hand, i didnt mean to come off as "all american teenagers are whiny emo brats" but more around the lines of "most emos are fake" instead.

Cool,
I didn't mean to sound hard. You just came off sort of biase and prejudice the first. I can agree with you though, it all depends on the persons background And motives.
