Youre not. And they did that to me for the first few weeks of my 'depression' but they eventually just gave up.

I've been depressed. I can't go to anyone about it because all they will do is ask questions. Or say I am doing this for attention. I am overreacting. No one will just be there, and not leave me alone in the shadows.

Exactly! I really hate people who say they're depressed, then five minutes later the whole thing just disappears like never happened, and they're all happy and s---.

They don't know how many tears you have shed, they don't know what you have been through, they don't know. So why do they have to right to tell you that you are pretending. That what you are going through is all in your mind.

Yeah, they don't know the pain that can never be shown, since it's emotional, sure it might be all in our mind because that's where the bad memories go too, along with those few good, but that doesn't stop it from it hurting all the same. -

Because as soon as you see something that connects the bad memories, it all comes rushing back. You can never get away from them, they are always there. You can push them back, but they are restless.
