This is going to be my take and then after you can post your claims or debate on weither this is stupid or not, because really /facepalm I CHOOSE stupid
So, let's get down to business. What we have here is major stupidity.

So basically what die-hard One Direction fans are doing are that they cut themselves for Zayn, because they're either desperate or haven't learned anything in life yet. They post their bloody pictures under a disturbing and vile tag named "#Cutting4Zayn, #CutForZayn and #CutFor1D" - from Abigail Tracy from Vocativ, for the whole world to see. This is major desperation to keep a teen heartthrob into guilt and run back to them, and keep them in their tiny little teenage angst hearts. I wouldn't blame them, they used a very known self-harm tactic to get attention to the people to bringz da hawtz zaynz togetherz gainz but seriously would you have to escape to extreme and drastic measure? This whole thing just explains how obsessed people are will elite celebrities and girls that just have no hope of finding a real love than fawning over stupid boy bands. Is there anything more, is this even a joke? This is really funny, stupid people make me funny.
Of course, but they have to offend people along the way by cutting, wouldn't that offend depressed people that cut or perform self-harm? NAH SO LETZ SLICE A KNIFE THROUGH OUR WRISTS LIKE WE GOT NO BLOOD OR VEINE YE~ That's just really inconsiderate.
The boy band has been there for enough years, so shut the f--- up and let Zayn leave but it's his choice, he wasn't a singer for your girls daydreams or even nightdreams, so stop trying to make that damn boy guilty.
'Nuff said, because the ridiculousness in the atmosphere is highly incredible.

I love Zayn to pieces. There are no words to describe how much I love him, but why in the world would I kill or cut myself. I'm a die-hard fan, but seriously? Even I don't like this.

It's not like you have met them personally. He is still alive. He just left. When My Chemical Romance split up they didn't freak out like this. Why would you decide to cut just because he left. It is not like he died or committed suicide or something. He just decided " Oh maybe I am starting to get sick and tired of these people." What if they never tried out of the X Factor or American Idol or whatever they tried out for. What if they didn't. Then there would be no One Direction. They were only big for about four years. Yes they big still be big for a little while longer. If 1D contine without Zayn. Maybe Zayn wanted to go solo. Who f---ing knows. Why get so worked up over something when there is an obvious explanation. I am just assuming though, he maybe got sick and tired of Harry, or Liam, or Nial, or whoever else is in that damn band. Maybe he wanted to go solo from what I have already said.

I know why he left. He was tired of the rumors about him cheating on Perrie Edwards. He was stressed. He couldn't take it anymore. He paid $16,000,000 to get out of his contract. His contract said that he had to be in the band for five years, and he had to make five albums witht the band. Their five year mark is July 22,2 2015, and they've only made four albums. They're fifth album is set to release sometime later this year.

Well, I'm in the One Direction fandom and have been for four years. I was extremely devastated when I heard that Zayn was leaving the band, of course. He's been going through a lot in the past few weeks (cheating rumors, lack of sleep, he wanted to release some solo stuff along with the band stuff and management wouldn't let him, he's in general just been doing terrible) and so when I heard he was quitting I was, like the rest of the real fans, worried for my idol and hopeful that he'd feel better.
Which is why, when the 'cut for Zayn' crap came up, the fandom lost their s---. That hashtag is representative of a few angsty, attention desperate twelve year olds and the thousands of real fans who were tired of their s--- and were using the tag to tell the angsty twelve year olds off. So, in reality, those hashtags weren't the entire fandom being idiots. It was, for the most part, the fandom trying to shut it down so that Zayn wouldn't think that this was something he caused. -

Even though, I would have to agree with @Ollie Is Silence, more people are deciding to lose their s---. Although Zayn has already enough on his plate. In my opinion, I would like to see Zayn make a video of some kind telling these irresponsible people to not cut their selves over this situation. I would have to say if Sleeping with Sirens split up, I would be very upset. I might loose my s--- as well. But to post it all over the internet, was just foolish and reckless. To literally take pictures and post it, I would have to say is not the best idea these people could think of.
I am not saying I am against cutting either. But at times, it would be best to not post pictures. Yes I have not much room to talk. But nonetheless, at times things with reasoning should be kept private. -
It's completely fine. Let the idiots kill themselves. Only then can the world move in the right direction.

I mean, the whole fandom's really upset. And we're all still trying to cope with it and come to terms with the fact that it will no longer be five guys on stage, but four. So it's normal that we all basically lost our s---. BUT, still, it was only a few who decided that they were going to post about cutting for it, not the majority.

^^Wow, shut up. What makes you happy? Video games? I bet you'd be pretty upset if I told you that the world would only move in the 'right direction' if you killed yourself. So shut up. One Direction makes some people happy, and that's not your problem.
