Thread Topic: questions with a crazily important answer
-
Im going to list some issues which the solution of, could change the world.
1- most criminals who go through the penal system end up commiting crimes again. Leaving them in prison costs valuable resources, while simply killing them presents issues socially such as how to justify a permanent solution to something that MAY not happen again.
How can we deal with criminals?
2- in civilization, the more cooperative we become, the more focused on ourselves we become. This is fair enough, the aim of civilization is for your own benefit, paradoxically, the better we becone at achieving the goal, the more divided we become because the more selfish we can afford to be.
How is it possible within a civilized setting, to minimize emphasis on divisional politics such as race, orientation, or sex, while maintaining the goal of civilization which is mutual benefit.
3- any form of change occurs when the leaders of an organization put their focus on that change. Only organizations can effect change within organizations, and eladers are chosen based on popularity, invariably.
In order to effect change, you must cater to a trend, or follow a trend, so how might it be possible to effect a truly, original change in the world.
These are some things I have no answer for. I wish I did because I believe answering these questions would change everything.
What are some enourmous issues you guys find would have direct impact on everything in the civilized world?
