I'm with jake. Different boys find different girls attractive. For example Taissa Farmiga is extremely attractive to me, while my friend thinks she is below average.
Another point is that, to many (grown up) boys the character is more important than the looks. By character I mean the whole style of the girl, not just the looks. Me for one would NEVER go for a dumb pretty girl as a partner. -
And by the whole style I meant personality + behaviour + looks which in combination forms the character.

It all boils down to biology and natural selection: a boy wants a "hot" girl so that she can pass down her good traits to their children.
