Type up about three different posts to try and get out what you're thinking but end up exiting out of each one because they either don't express exactly what you want to say or you think they sound stupid now that you've actually written it down?
I do that a lot. ._. -
It's why I don't post often.
-
I haven't been posting a lot lately either.
This is going to sound off topic at first, but it's what came to my mind.
Everytime I see Bjork in an interview, I'm always silently rooting for her. She's so introverted and tries to search for the right words, but so brilliant and deep inside. Perhaps because she's so eccentric and childlike people could quickly misjudge her and not see the intelligence she clearly has. Plus, English isn't her first language, so that makes things even more difficult on how to be articulate and easy to interview.
She said something once that I remember clearly because it put into words exactly what I personally feel as well. She compared the feelings and ideas to being an ocean inside, and when she tries to talk about it with people it's like trying to push that whole ocean through a straw. All those emotions and thoughts can get built up when we try to express it concisely.
I don't know, but I relate to that a lot. Trying to find the words to clearly show what it is I'm trying to describe. Sometimes language just doesn't cover all of it. -
I feel that often. That "Summarize in one word" thread? Well I was facing problems there because I couldn't express what I felt. Some feelings and emotions cannot be expressed through mere words but there are other means as well.
-
^I did not post in that thread for that exact reason.
-
How can a person summarize his/her thoughts in just 1 word??
So many thoughts may be fleeting in his/her mind. -
Exactly.
Lucy: Not
Lily: Ours!
Guys---
Kakemi: Be
Snow: SILENT!
Very funny Snow. (If you don't get it, Snow's full name is Silent Snow.) -
They're like your children. :)
Tell me, how do you concentrate while studying?
