Did you give your username out?
-
Kitty- If you compare and analyze elements of the movie to earlier Disney classics, "Tangled" is like "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" in a way :O
-
ilovelions: What do you mean username? I never give out my username. And it is not my username.
SG115: Well...I'm not sure how Tangled is like the Hunchback of Notre Dame... -
Your ilovekittens username to people you know
-
Kitty- Think about it: both protagonists long to see the outside world, but both their "parents" keep them confined by saying the world is cruel and unjust. However, both protagonists get that chance, but keep having second thoughts. Up to the climax, both protagonists realize that only their caretakers are nothing but cruel.

SG115: you should study movies at college
-
Lion- I AM in college :O Sometimes I analyze movies for the heck of it, mostly animated ones I grew up on during my childhood ^_^
-
ilovelions: Never did...
SG115: Ohh!!! True! I didn't think about the hunchback's dad...or how do I say this..."fake" dad. -
Kitty- Yeah, Frollo, that pedophile xD
I also noticed that both "Shrek 2" and "The Princess Bride" films have almost-similar climaxes. Both heroes, alongside their comrades, storm the castle, defeat guards and rescue the hero's true love :D -
SG115: Yup! True. I haven't seen the princess bride in a long time. :)
-
Kitty- I never knew the film existed until watching it one day, then I grew fond of it.
Plus, Inigo Montoya reminds me of Puss-in-Boots from "Shrek 2". Both have distinctive accents; both are expert sword-fighters; both are from Spain; and, finally, both characters highly value their honor and modesty. -
SG115: I thought you were going to say boots.
-
I guess I don't go to your school then
-
But how did you get my name?
-
Lucky guess
