Thread Topic: Please help me meditate on this question
-
Why do people fear losing things that they do not even have yet?
-
Because you want it, and don't want to risk losing it.
Eg. A crush -
Hypothetical tangent time.
Someone bids on an item. Once they have placed their bid, they register that bid as a claim they have staked upon that item. If someone else bids, they are challenging that staked claim.
Not only have they been challenged to something they view as their territory, but they now risk their entire claim to the item.
In short, once someone claims something as their property, they view it as their property regardless of if it legally is or not. -
Because they want it so much, I think.
-
because some people are somtimes dillusional and think that they DO have it. there. ._.
-
Because they don't want to have to go through the pain of losing it.
Or something like that?
