  Vegetarians only don't eat meat. Vegans don't eat anything that comes from animals like milk, eggs, cheese etc. Vegetarians are fine with eating animal products like that, they just don't like eating the actual animal. :3

  So in simple terms, vegetarians are confused and Vegans lack taste buds. Fair enough :)

  Vegetarians shouldn't eat eggs because it is basically meat, so I suppose you're right.
