Thread Topic: Is being gay moral?
-
What do you mean' the stuff I was saying was what gays thought'? I didn't say anything like " I'm a gay and I know that all gays think this" all I said was that I think this ( btw everything I said (apart from the wanting to f--- women thing) I thought was completely true) .
-
And yes, I wa a very observant toddler. Thank you
-
The being undercover gays when pretending to be straight thing.
-
That is true. I have friends that ARE gay that have pretended to be straight for several years before finally coming out
-
So because of these ball-lacking homos their sexualities can't change?
-
I'm pretty sure gay people have balls otherwise I think they would have noticed sooner that they were gay. No they can realise they are a difference sexuality but their sexuality can't change
-
Well chances are someone that turns out to be gay wouldn't have boners at boobs so if they didn't yes that's possible and it's happened to a couple of my friends actually. So yes, thinking that you are genuinely attracted to women and still concluding you may be gay isn't particularly logical but if you aren't particularly attracted to women it's possible you could realise you are attracted to men

Back to how this debate began on sex being just a primal urge;
Yes, sex is a primal urge. It is based on the desire to reproduce. But in every single species which has experienced a rapid growth in population, homosexuality has appeared. If you're going off of "primal", then let homosexuals be together. They are natures way of keeping the population from sky rocketing. And suppressing them is hurting humanity more than it helps. -
Being gay is NOT moral!
-
^just because it's against your religion doesn't mean that you can act like a b---- about it e.e
Gnome, you seem like a boob with no understanding of true emotion. Life isn't true freaking cold hard fact. -
Alright, people, let me tell you a thing.
Here's what I believe:
First of all, (partially because I'm pansexual), yes, I believe that EVERY sexual orientation is moral. And if you don't believe that being gay/anything other than straight is moral, I have a very simple solution for you: if you don't believe that being gay is okay, don't f--- someone of the same gender. Whoa. Look at that. A simple solution for you. Honestly, it's none of your business who other people love or are attracted to. How would you feel if people went around telling you that "you're heterosexual, and that's immoral" or that "straight people are going to hell"? You wouldn't like being judged for being yourself either. People are people and if you can't accept someone for who they are, that's fine, just don't tell them that them being who they are is immoral.
And for anyone who uses religion as an argument, well, my friends, do I have a plot twist for you. Yes, I am pansexual, and yes, I am a Christian. Whoa, look at that. Frankly, my church is a United Church of Christ church, which means that we will accept anyone no matter what, since God loves all people.
So let me just say this again:
If you think being gay is immoral, DON'T HAVE SEX WITH/BE IN A RELATIONSHIP WITH SOMEONE OF THE SAME GENDER. -
^amen

^^ I second this amen!!

As daleks was a statement which she won't stop saying, kitty is saying her beliefs, and wolf is calling me a boob I will address bobs point.

Animal homosexuality is mostly just conveying signs basically, in dogs it's conveying dominance. Or bonobos, bonobos are a typical example of this "borrowing." These primates from the chimpanzee family engage in seemingly sexual behavior to express acceptance and other affective states.
And natures way of population control, so as a population gets bigger homosexuality just triggers? -
I keep saying the same statement because you keep missing it's point. But hey, I'm not getting into this one again. If you have an outlook on life that's this cold and emotionless I wish you all the luck and happiness in the world. Looks like you'll need it
