My dad apparently volunteered me to go over to his house all weekend three times a day to take care of his dogs while him and his girlfriend are on vacation. They also dropped their kids off at my house to babysit them when I'm not taking care of the dogs.
I have to be over there again at 8 AM. Now I have to go to bed early so I can take care of the animals.
I actually had plans this weekend. But they're out of state and I don't know anyone else to help me take care of these animals so I guess my plans are shot.
It doesn't help that when I got there, all of the dogs were locked in different rooms, and out of the four of them, only one of them had food and water. I went to the kitchen to get bowls for the others, and all of the cabinets were padlocked. I cleaned some bowls off in the sink and went to grab food, only to find that it had been moved and I wasn't warned. I had to call my dad's girlfriend to find out where the food was so I could go feed the animals they had left for me to take care of all weekend. I never even had a say so in it all. They just told my grand parents (who I live with) that I would be more than happy to take care of them all weekend.
My dad even said "Well he can stay over here all weekend if he wants." Like I'd want to stay in that house. It smells of bleach and vinegar, all of the food cabinets are locked, and it's out in the middle of nowhere.
It's downright pathetic. I'd call it laughable, but there's nothing to laugh about. -
