Thread Topic: Why is cutting addicting?
-
@Alleria just because YOU have never cut yourself, other people shouldn't? You don't matter in that situation. People should not be made to feel like they need to cut themselves anyways. Also people don't "eventually die" from cutting. It can lead to suicide or something can go wrong, but it's not like a disease that slowly eats you.
-
Alleria Novice@Teresa22 Ok yeah I never cut myself. I find another way that doesn't involve cutting or drugs or such. I never been in that sort of situation. I've been through extreme loss and pain and sortof heartbreak.YES, I know cutting, alcohol, drugs isn't a thing that can go away like a cold. What I'm trying to say is...
I don't know. People do things for a reason, that sometimes we can't explain. People deal with stuff in different ways. And maybe if we show people we care and have been through the same thing, that we're not alone...maybe things don't have to be so difficult...and that we can get through it. -
That doesn't even fit into the conversation.
-
Alleria Novice@Teresa22 Then let's not bother with this conversation. It's not worth it, ok?
The main question is "Why is cutting so addicting?" We're trying to help @dannylover321. -
Which it didn't seem you were. Instead you made your response revolve around yourself.
-
^True.
-
I said "most people who are addicted either keep going until something traumatic happens, or they die from it."
Something traumatic being;
-rushed to the emergency room
-therapy
-passing out from blood loss
-parent finding out
-ect
dying form it being;
-infection
-blood loss
-ect
I never said that just cutting was a disease. -
@James I didn't say you did. It was just an example.
-
Also people don't "eventually die" from cutting. It can lead to suicide or something can go wrong, but it's not like a disease that slowly eats you.
Yes you did. -
Alleria NoviceOmg this really isn't going anywhere. Let's just forget about what I posted. I didn't try to make it about me. I suck at explaining.
THE REAL FRACKING QUESTION we're answering:
Why is cutting so addicting?
So let's just ignoring this whole stupid conversation that's so not worth it, ok? -
More like why is posting gifs so addicting?
-
Alleria Novice@ICEE CHILL what is gifs?
-
a gif, or .gif is a moving picture. It acts as a picture, but works like a video.
-
Alleria NoviceThat's cool. Thanks for the info :D
-
@James to be honest I didn't read your post until after you pointed it out. "Eventually dying" was referring to Alleria's post which says, "then you'll eventually die."
