I think the law here is 20 weeks or earlier.

I agree with "up to 3 months." In terms of optional abortions anyway, the kind you have to get to keep from fucking dying needs to be legal at any time. But for the most part I believe there are better alternatives.

the question of abortion is really a subject seperate from the subject of "cold blooded murder".
The main reason being that cold blooded murders are termed such because they are done without remorse and without valid reason.
The difference in abortion is that the fetus (or baby, whatever you want to call it) is directly affecting the woman. Therefore valid reason is implied and remorse is almost unavoidable.
My point is not that you're wrong in stating abortion at 9 months is immoral and dangerous. Although I do take some issue with both of those sentiments, my point is that likening abortion to murder at all is a tired, and incorrect analogy. -
Abortions without a medical reason are only performed up to 3 months. There was a "doctor" here in Philadelphia that performed abortions as far as 30 weeks!!! (Keep in mind that the average pregnancy is about 40 weeks). I believe that abortions up to the legal limit are fine but the babies shouldn't be killed if they are aborted alive.
