I decided to post it here because the "Wine Cellar" wont let me make a thread :( woe is me...But on the topic. Which do you think should be endorsed, abstinence or safe sex. this might be helpful, if youre going to make an educated argument, use sources....aaaand go!

I believe that both can be the right answer. Up to a certain age, Abstinence is completely in the right. Kids who haven't matured enough mentally or physically should abstain from sexual activity.
But the inevitable does happen. And it happens a lot. Teens will have sex. There is no stopping this. And trying to put fear in their heads only makes it all the more thrilling. Remember, at a certain point protecting their innocence is useless. Protecting their future and their health is the real priority.
tl;dr Abstinence for a while, and then safe sex. -
Abstinence is dumb. Sex is part of a relationship, and a really important part too. I know all the uptight sexually repressed Christians who have never ventured away from the missionary position will try to tell you otherwise, that sex is purely for baby-making, but these are the same people who think the Earth was created in six days. I'm all for personal choice, but abstinence is just plain dumb. Not exploring your sexuality is literally like not opening gifts on Christmas. f---ing is pretty big part of life, you might as well know what you are looking for in any relationship where sex is involved instead of leaving it up to chance, which is basically what you are doing when you stay abstinent.

FLgirl92 JuniorI never really bought into the whole abstinence deal. But I definitely advocate safe sex. I can tell you from first-hand experience that pregnancy scares are no fun. I got lucky, but many more girls don't, of course, which just leads to children being raised girls who are still kids themselves and don't have a lot of money to spend on a kid, or abortion. You can decide for yourself which is worse, I personally think they're about equal. But anyway, it really doesn't to be that way. Kids are going to have sex. Maybe you can stop some, but the vast majority are just going to do it anyway, and they won't have the knowledge to avoid getting pregnant or getting an STD.
Anyway, my short answer is "safe sex". -
Safe sex are the way~ Not that it really applies to me seeing as I have no interest in sex, but I'd rather if people didn't get pregnant involuntarily because there'd be a lot of unwanted little babies being ditched.
