Call and then when they come to collect the money, kick them in the balls.
-
I get out of paying so many things, this wouldn't be any different. A million dollar fee makes no difference to me, that b---- is living I suppose.
-
I'd call. To me, it's no hesitation. If it was a dog that I saw like that, I would definitely call. I just couldn't bear having that guilt that I could've tried and done something.
-
I actually dont know....one side of me says yes save the person and the other says wth! im not paying a million for a phone bill dont save the person!!
-
i wouldn't call.because never in my life i would be able to pay that much...
-
Call. Definitely.
-
Are you guys seriously putting a price on life?
-
Yes. A human life is worth more than a million dollars. More for family members and/or people you actually care about. Frankly I'm just so jaded about the state of humanity that I wouldn't go out of my way to save someone's life.
-
That's sad.

I can see what your thinking, Miki. But here is my though process:
1. The police cant save them. Only an ambulance can. A police car doesnt have the equipment, so it would be just as helpful (probably more helpful) if I tried to save them myself.
2. They probably need someone to save them NOW. They cant wait.
3. There is only a 50 percent chance of them living.
4. I will never have that much money. I barely have 13 dollars right now. -
But isn't it at least worth something to try? That's someone's son/daughter. They could have a family. How would you like to tell them that their child is dead and you could've had a choice to call for help, but you didn't because it was too expensive. Do you know how awful and selfish that sounds?
-
.....By police, I misstook for ambulance. Sorry.
I asked around 20 people at school and only about 4 of them said they would call. Only one of the four teachers I asked said they would call.
Here was my thought process:
1. It is a human life, and I would feel guilty if I did not call.
2.How would I feel if I was in that situation? I would want someone to call for help.
3. Money is an object, and if this was to happen when I was older (as I first imagined it) then sooner or later I would pay off the bill.
4. If the person gets better, I would hope they would help pay the bill.
5. The media eats stories like this up. If the media got a hold of something like this, some people would be kind enough to donate money and I could start paying the bill with the curtious donations. (I've seen and heard stories like this) -
I figured Infinity meant ambulance.
And what if whoever is dying is a single parent? Or a caretaker? Or a little kid? Or a grandparent? What would happen if that person was a teacher? A doctor? A psychologist? The person working on the cure for cancer? What would happen if that person died?
If I never called, I'd be faced with to many "what ifs" to live with. -
Of course, I'd call. I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I didn't for one thing, and most of the things Miki said.
-
...how about calling, and then trying to help them while the officers come? Then when the police get there (assuming an ambulance cannot be called directly, in which case f--- it call an ambulance), they can redirect the person to the hospital. Then when the company comes for their million dollars, a. Kick them in the balls or b. Fight it in court and if you win, yay, if not, kick them in the balls.
