Because a politician is anyone who runs in politics. And a democrat is a left wing politician, who is pretty much for the . Everyonehas the same one vote, police protection, assumption of innocence, and things like that.

A politician is just anyone who works and runs in politics. Democrats are one of the two political parties that have pretty much all the power. The other is the Republican party. Typically these parties fling poop at each other while the citizens watch, and in the end they decide which poop thrower to put into office. It's a delicate system, mind you.
