Thread Topic: Obama or Romney?

I would say Obama. He was given such a bad economy to turn around and I think he's done a great job stopping the snowball effect. I hate how people suddenly expect this economy to be fixed instantly. It won't. Additionally, I do not think he is perfect, but I do think he's done well with many current issues. As for Romney I don't trust his policies and propaganda. He is the best Republican candidate as far as I'm concerned, but I think Obama has a better chance at pulling us forward. If we instantly change all of his policies how can they help????
-
dw1996 NewbieNobody is saying Obama should've been able to instantly fix the economy. What we're saying is that he's had four years and hasn't made much progress, even though the government has been spending a buttload of money to try and fix the economy.
Actually, I might have to say I prefer Romney at this point. I don't trust him much, but he's a business legend, so I would think he is a good person to trust with turning around the economy. -
Romney's the best choice. I really get into polotics, and though Romney isn't what I'd call a reasonable choice for president, you can't get much worse than Obama. He's ruining this country. He practicly bowed down to the leaders of other nations, is taking away our rights, stopped NASA from doing anything, and isn't even American!!! He's even using tax-payers' money to do stupid things like polls. Get this! He used our $ to sponser a poll to see if gay guys like black or blond hair better! And you think HE'S the better choice?!?!?!?!

I can't vote for a while, but anyway...
Neither.
RAINBOW DASH FOR PRESIDENT!
-
dw1996 NewbieObama is American. He was born in Hawaii, and even if he weren't, he has an American mother, so he is an American citizen no matter where he was born.
-
I still have a long way to vote...
If I could, I would vote for Obama, because Im a democrat. Obama really hasn't done much, but he is trying his best.... -
@Selena I voted for Applejack xD
-
To say he isn't American is ignorant. Do you honestly believe that somebody not born here could pull that off? And I'm not saying Obama is perfect. But I believe that he is better than Romney. Without spending nothing could get better. We need to circulate the money and it's not gonna look better for a couple years. No matter the president. Did you know it takes the average American seven years to get out of bankruptcy? Now, imagine a whole nation in loads of debt. This is hard, very hard. And Obama is doing his absolute best with a republican congress. You guys wonder why nothing is happening? Well, you can blame the congress for stopping it all. To be honest, a president can do next to nothing when the congress refuses to compromise.
-
dw1996 NewbieCongress is completely f---ed, yes, but Obama is part of the problem. You are either part of the solution or part of the problem as far as I'm concerned. As far as the whole birther thing goes, you can hate Obama as much as you want as far as policy goes, but at least honor the fact that his claim to power is legitimate.
-
I'm sorry but I believe that he is part of the solution. And it doesn't seem as if we will agree :P

Faith NoviceWhat does it matter where Obama's born or If he's better than Romney people have been focused on where's he's born what he looks like does that have anything to do with trying to help the country. How are you going to say he's the problem the country is in debt you don't have proof That he's the problem in this country.he may have been apart of some of the problems but he's not the only one. People need to just stop blaming other people and going against each other we need to work together to solve all the problems instead of focusing on stuff that isn't important and saying who's betterthan the other cause we all want one thing to make this country better and were not going to that by fighting and blaming.
-
^That's a very valid point. I wish we could all feel this way.
-
Neither.
-
Neither. I hate both of their guts.
But if I had to chose, Obama. He doesn't seem as racist as Romney.
