Okay fine. LETS ALL LIVE IN SOVIET RUSSIA SO WE CAN MURDER ALL OUR NEIGHBORS AND RAPE ALL THEIR WIVES!
-
No, Russia is horrible.
-
In the United States during the same time frame, we were also able to recover from the Great Depression under FDR's presidency, and it was done without killing 11 million people, muzzling free press, or jailing and executing dissidents.

The troll is successful.

And Ana, The Poles stole Germany's land and wrecked their country, via the Treaty of Versailles.
-
Treaty of Versailles was unstable because, basically, all it did was attack Germany. It was good on paper, but when put in action, different from the original plan for peace.
-
I'd love to see All of Europe steal America's territories. Wonder how'd he react.
Plus, Hirohito killed more than Hitler and Stalin so.... who's the real Gillian here? -
The borders of Europe have been drawn and redrawn so many times that you really can't say your land was stolen. I certainly wouldn't say it for Germany, which existed as a united country for less than a century when Hitler came to power.
-
Thank you Mo. Atleast someone understands how unfair that is.
-
Like tongue said, Europe's lines have been redrawn so much, a tiny piece of land shouldn't matter. That strip of land of Prussia which is in modern day Poland is basically a mix of Germans and Poles. It's like saying New York stole a bit of Vermont's land.
-
From what I hear, Hitler promised good things and then started f---ing up the place.
-
Also, no one is debating whether Japan and Russia weren't equally brutal. They were. Their death counts are considerably worse. But I don't believe 11 million deaths should be tolerated because other countries were supposedly worse.
-
Why of course. We learn the truth as best we can here in PNHS. :3
And to reply to page one, trust myself a lot more than I do anyone else. The government has zero trust from me. :B -
Yes, but the German borders had been decided 50 years after, until the Treaty.
It was kind of like "Well okay, you've here for 50 years, but now you cant, so bye!" Imagine you've grown up in a place in which you've loved dearly, and want to die there. Imagine that. And then a whole army just takes it away from you. Atleast the Nazis would let you stay in your country and die in your country. -
Japan...It was horrid what they did to their captives of war. The bamboo thing scares me still...And their own soldiers died on order.
