Washington's legislature approved a bill legalizing same sex marraige two weeks ago, which their governor has since signed. Maryland's legislature approved a similar bill yesterday, and it too will likely be signed by the governor. So two states in a single month. That's pretty cool. There will probably be attempts to overturn both laws, but for now, this is pretty cool news. And considering that in less than ten years it went from being legal nowhere to being legal in 6 states, I've gotta believe the next decade or so looks pretty good. Who knows, maybe 20 years from now gay marraige will be legal in every state. I think there's a decent possibility of that.

FLgirl92 NewbieFlorida will be among the last to legalize gay marraige for sure. But this is cool. I could see myself living in Maryland if I ever decided to settle down with a woman instead of a man. I hear it is nice in the summer.
