  Early today an air plane crashed in Alaska with 9 people in it. 5 are dead including former Senator Ted Stevens (R-AK). Ted Stevens was the longest serving Republican Senator in history. He was appointed in 1968. In 2008 he narrowly lost to Democratic candidate, Mark Begich

  I don't care that he's dead. What you fail to mention is that Stevens lost his seat because he was a corrupt jackal. It would be like Rangel dying. The only sad thing about Stevens' death was that it didn't happen sooner.

  Actually, those charges were eventually thrown out sometime after he lost.
