Law abiding citizens have the right to defend themselves, because criminals will find ways to smuggle guns. But focus on punishing criminals.

i'm not a veg so i do eat meat. i just don't hunt or have family who hunts

We should be allowed to have guns, as we need to defend ourselves...but there need to be some restrictions.
And if guns were illegal in all of America...
If people want something, some of them will get it, legal or not. We see that with drugs, exotic animals, etc.
So all the good, innocent, law-abiding citizens (or whatever xD) don't have any guns.
But the evil criminal guys or whatever (xD), like I said before, some of them WILL have guns.
Now what? We die.
And being dead can't be much fun.
So we need to defend ourselves. -
