Uh, firstly, the Wilbur and Shubble thing
Gonna say right now, Wilbur's "apology" was absolute garbage.
This isn't some drama. This is real people, real peoples' lives, and (assuming Shubble has actual proof, which based on how Wilbur's been acting she's right) an actual domestic crime.
This isn't some small thing on the internet that doesn't hurt people.
For any of you who don't know, you can look up "Shubble accusation" on YouTube and "Wilbur Apology" on Twitter to find the things.
The only person that has any right to forgive Wilbur is Shubble, and she VERY CLEARLY didn't. C'mon, when the Big Man DREAM is telling Wilbur his apology is trash, there's an issue.
I feel really passionate about situations like this because I know people who have been in situations like these, if not me myself in situations.
I will repeat, THE SHUBBLE THING IS NOT DRAMA. IT IS AN ACTUAL F---ING CRIME.
And it's also not something to make cutesy little edits on TikTok about either!
Grow up, your favorite creator's turned out to be a sh--face. Admit it

I find it incredibly funny when people romanize sad bois and then are shocked when they have toxic personality traits lol. Wilbur's favorite band was crywank, what did anyone expect from a guy like that.

i do 100% agree, but i've also just seen a bunch of stuff about how shubble's just bulls---ting for clout n stuff, so it's really just- hard for me to pick a side. and i do feel more obligated to lean towards wilbur and the idea that he's innocent, mostly bc i know him better than shelby. like, i DO NOT, under ANY circumstances, support domestic abuse/violence cases, no matter what the situation/reason is, but it's just a bit hard to believe considering how long i've looked up to and admired will. of course, i want to support shubble bc that happened (if it did indeed happen) is f---ed, but if this is just some ploy for her to get clout, and wilbur's just saying that he did in fact do said abusive acts towards her, then i just- i feel more obligated to lean towards wilbur.
but other than that, i'm remaining neutral. same position with the george and caiti situation. -
i went to find the google docs and idk if it's copying properly, so here's where i found it- this podcast and a few others talk a lot abt it/post vids abt it

idk for sure if the doc is still up, as i haven't checked it out in a while, but it kind of explained why they thought shubble was kind of just making it up and wilbur was only apologizing to not ruin her image n stuff.

It just seems weird that almost no one that was there is backing up Caiti...
I dunno. This is why I left DSMP. Just wanted to voice an opinion I feel strongly about, since again, situations. -
I still am morally deadset on the fact that even DREAM, who took like two years to make an explanation video, said the apology was s---.
Also, why would Wilbur willingly throw his entire career down the drain? Even if to protect her, he could have tried to defend himself. Granted, he probably still wouldn't have gotten any better... But still. If this is all for clout, then Wilbur has entirely thrown his career away, his band away (which affects other people), and his friendships with both Tommy and Phil (as well as others). Seems like a stretch to me, given the risks.
You looked up to Wilbur, and I can't say that I disrespect that. However, there is still a high likelihood that you simply supported and looked up to an online mask for someone who is obviously much different without a camera.
Also, firing all his mods for his videos and being his own mod was kinda a sh-t move too. -
We have found that, online, it is TOO EASY to take something and make evidence out of it. While, yes, this can and may apply to Shubble as well, this can apply to Wilbur and any of his still-existing fanbase. We as viewers cannot say either way, we all may lean whatever direction. But, honestly, if you're only reason to cling to someone is that you enjoy their content online, that's not a very good reason. This happened with Dream. I liked Dream, and I still would if not for my random disinterest in minecraft after months of hyperfixation, and I hate seeing this. Look at the original sh-t, THEN base opinions. See the Shubble video, then Wilbur's apology (in any order, doesn't matter). Then base opinions.
This is NOT directed at you, @imsoclueness, btw. This is general. I hate when people make life-altering and damaging opinions based on a loyalty to someone they'll never meet personally, in general. People frustrate me, total herd animals. Base it off of logical decision between the two original things about it, or base it off values.

BEFORE I SAY ANYTHING ELSE, please please please yall take care of yourselves. Get out of abusive situations, even if you never speak of it again. You all deserve to be happy, not to be hurt by someone who is supposed to love and respect you.

and no worries, i take no offense at all lmfao i deffo liked reading it, seeing your opinion and realizing that that's a lot of what my opinion is to the situation, except that i was having trouble putting it into words. i am just honestly staying very neutral on it, i'm not even considering a side rn bc idek who to defend at this point (as i say this tho, if either one side is proven to be innocent, whether it's shubble (showing that will did abuse her) or wilbur (showing that he didn't and was "lying" for her) i will fully support them)
i have also been trying to stay out of the wilbur and george related stuff, but i am still a big qsmp fan n stuff (i'm watching tubbo's subathon rn lmao) so i hope that doesn't make me seem like a bad person in your eyes ^^' mc is pretty much my entire personality atm- (the other half is cartoons xD) -
and don't worry one bit! i love listening to ppl rant abt smth they're passionate abt or smth that peaks their interest :D
