Yes, lightning does help with the removal of some greenhouse gasses. But not enough to keep up with all the pollution and emissions from people. The amount of C02 and other harmful gasses in the emissions has measurably increased since the start of the industrial revolution.
So yes, lightning may be helping some, but it is far from enough -
Let's throw aside evidence based arguments for a second. Let me use a pragmatic argument.
If climate change is real and we do nothing, the planet will be destroyed. If it is fake and we do nothing, the planet will be a better place for everyone.
Do you see how no matter if it is real or fake, the only consequence is in inaction? Do landfills make you feel warm and fuzzy on the inside? Wouldn't you rather live on a cleaner planet with more sustainable practices? -

Ravager, lightning storms have been around since because the industrial revolution. Since before humans, actually. But despite lightning storms that still exist today, the amount of harmful greenhouse gasses is still rising

ok so i've seen:
Oil comes from plankton, therefore is not a fossil fuel
Oil is abiogenic (theory)
How did we even find out that oil comes from fossils? is that just a theory as well? -
apparently oil being biogenic is also a theory, so...
