BLM, Black Lives Matter.
And that- they do!
ELM, Every Life Matters
Yes, it does... but that’s not we should be focusing on.
Black people have been targeted the most, more than any other race. I don’t think ELM should be what we pay the most attention to. Because every life does matter, but black lives especially. This is because blacks have been targeted, more than any other races. While keeping ELM in our heads, BLM is what we need to pay attention to, or else we can’t fix anything. -
Exactly! Black people have faced so much discrimination and hate. They were freaking SLAVES for sooo long! And the hate isn't even gone today. Racism exists in so many places. And its not just hate, its MURDER!! We need to start fixing things in this world, and it should start with racism.

I would argue that Native Americans have been targeted more and are often so overlooked by the general public and are by far the most unrepresented people in our country (in terms of both media and politics). So what about their lives? Do they not matter as much as black lives? Or is it just every other race matters more than white lives? If so, then why are you judging the quality of someone’s life based off of their skin color and putting one life above the other for it? Isn’t that a bit racist? Shouldn’t they be equal?

u forgot about NLM. no lives matter : )

One of my friends who's in college right now (don't remember which college or which class this was in), but she told me that she was being taught there that only white people can be racist. Isn't that itself a racist statement? Does that mean that just by sitting here I'm being racist to my friend who's black and is sitting right across from me right now?
-
Just a reminder! Even "positive" racism is still racism. Treating one race as superior to another is racism. There are racists in EVERY race, not just one.

Look, its pretty simple
What we should focus on and what we're already focusing on is, yes, BLM. Are some peeps takin it to an extreme? Definitely. Thats where the line is drawn between BLM and ELM. Listen, ELM is not the purpose here, its just what we (cough cough maybe just me) use in replacement to emphasize the real cause here.
In the extremes I refer to hate - Hate will not improve the lives of blacks nor those of non-blacks. Its just not an option. But here we are with BLM magnified to a hundred times and a lot closer to Black Lives Matter More (BLMM) which is not the REASON for the initial proposal
Thats where the line comes in. Take it, and eventually I hope, try 2 break it. In little pieces. To combine the and E and B to geniuinely mean we care about our oppressed victims, because theyre people too. And it should be obvious. BLM. -
Legally, black people are equal. The only thing they need to fix is people's opinions, which is definitely not an easy thing.
But there's racism against every race. I don't really know how to put it into words, but it kind of makes their fight seem a little pointless (I don't completely mean pointless, I just don't know how to put it into words) -
Dragon, we're talking the big game. Fairness is barely relevant here because fairness doesnt exist in our world. Unfairness does not go with pointlessness either. Pointless only refers to some of the WAYS in which we use our ideas to combat injustice.
-
Again, I didn't exactly mean pointless, because I couldn't think of a good work for it.

BLM. For some reason, people are being more racist to them than usual for some reason.
