If we didn't have political parties?
I got thinking about this on the way home today while listening to the radio. All I heard was a bunch of people pointing fingers at the other political party. And I wondered, what if there was no political party to be pointing fingers at? Would we be more united or even more divided? Would we be more organized or in complete disarray? Would there be less disputes, would our country be better? Or would we be in utter chaos and our country in ruins? -
The political parties is kinda stupid yes. I think people should base their votes on the person, not on what party their on.
Another thing that’s stupid is the electoral college. Basically it’s like this group of people (a small group) and they vote on the president. Whoever’s votes wins goes. So basically it doesn’t matter what the USA wants, it’s all based on this small group of people. The electoral college was made because in the 1700s it was kinda hard to vote because there was hard to travel to a specific spot to just vote, so they had it made. It may have worked back then, but not today.
