and if you only have an idea what its about, but dont have the details, dont post your opinion unless you at least look it up as to have an idea about what its about -
If they can't prove he did it then we should presume he didn't.

So this thread was originally posted for others opinions but i gotcha
so when i say ford is full of s---, i completely believe that, while rape is not to be taken lightly, these people accusing him are seriously taking advantage of it, they know theres a chance that theyll get him arrested over things that supposedly happened somewhere they dont remember, some time they cant remember, and choose to place these people theyre accusing in their possibly made up scenario.
this seems to most definitely be a ploy by the democrats so the supreme court does not receive another republican, no evidence has been brought up to prove ford's claims, and she and the democrats are only riding on the fact that people tend to sympathize with the woman
tl:dr ford is full of s--- and has only brought up fake claims to keep kavanaugh from being elected, much like what disney/rian johnson did with tran after it was revealed that solo bombed

i also am a bit iffy with the whole rape accusations. always have been. not saying theyre completely/all fake, but some inkling of the whole idea seems strikingly like a stream of misinformation

Cause I actually believe Kavanaugh (whoever he is, I don’t know anything about either of them. This opinion is based on what I do know, which tbh isn’t much cause I don’t have the news.) shouldn’t be charged. At least, in Canada’s laws.
In Canada you have the right to be innocent until proven guilty. Therefore if the prosecutor doesn’t have any proof to support their claims, the defendant shouldn’t have to do anything to prove their innocents. So since Ford has no proof of her claims so far, there isn’t any question. Siding with her just because you want woman’s voices to be heard is just as sexist as voting in trump because you don’t want a woman president.
However I’ve also heard that Trump is on Kavanaugh’s side, which kinda sways me, but then again, I don’t have all the information.
I’m also a bit down on the whole rape accusations thing going on. It’s a very complicated topic because if you say yes at the beginning and say yes while it’s happening but all of a sudden say no last minute than you can legally charge the person. People have been using this to attack people of high status and it’s a very complicated head ach of a thing to pick a side. For example, my favourite band Hedley shut down because the lead singer slept with a girl who later turned out to be fifteen and he was charged with sexual assault. However she could have lied about her age. So it really is an iffy thing, a very he said she said thing. -

I don't know what to think. Kavanaugh's behavior in court is odd. One minute he's asking the senators what they drink, the next he's talking about his fond memories doin workouts at Tobin's house. Then there's when he talks about his dad like his dad is dead but he's sitting two seats behind him lol The virgin excuse is laughable as it does not disprove the accusation.
It's odd that Dr. Ford's friend doesn't remember an event like this. Kavanaugh could have done it, he also couldn't have.
Hard to say for sure and from the coverage I've seen there doesn't seem to be much evidence besides words, Kavanaugh's calendars which talk about him going to events such as the one where Dr. Ford says she was assaulted. I am a little behind, I need to catch up with the trial
If Kavanaugh is guilty I commend Dr. Ford. -

There Is No Concrete Evidence To Support Her Claims At All. She's Only Presented Words, And Words Don't Mean S*** In This Day And Age.

all right imma risk it and put myself out there. I know y'all hate me tho so I'll try to keep it short this time
I would just like to point out that this "incident," if it even happened, happened 37 years ago. People can change. A lot. Just because Kavanaugh maaaaybe might possibly have gotten close to almost raping someone else when he was 17 years old is kind of irrelevant. It almost seems like people should be impressed that he was able to turn his life around and become a more respectable person, instead of just digging out old skeletons and trying to ruin his entire reputation. Especially when it's just based on one person's very foggy and consistently changing memory. Like everyone else is saying, it's so painfully obvious that the Democrats just don't want another Republican in office, and they're grasping at anything possible to make sure they get their way. I just want to tell these people to grow up and stop acting like they're still in junior high.
But as usual I probably am wrong and illogical and uniformed so feel free to shoot me down
