These wars are STILL going on, and soldiers are coming up screwed up for WHAT? We were attacked on 9/11, which needed to be fought for. But it has been 10 years almost since all of this. The tv news never even mentions it anymore, in yet there are still troops over there, basically rebuilding countries. That's bulls---. My dad is a wounded veteran from this. His shoulder and knee are torn up inside, and he has PTSD among other things. And yet when he walks around nobody sees his wounds. A family friend is now a quadrilplegic and has forever been effected by this. And yet I never seen stronger people than these soldiers and families that keep moving ahead through all this.

tongue AdvancedPeople stopped caring when the economy started sucking, and most war protesters don't have a relative in the military. Usually people with relatives in the military support wars.

I'm for war that's for defense. Both my parents want the troops to come home. My dad who has seen it over there says we shouldn't have been there as long as we've been. He said in the deployments he's gone places it's gotten worse. And maybe Obama should consider the money we're wasting in these wars if he's so worried about the economy. Also, Obama has done hardly anything to fix this. He ran on being the anti-war candidate, so where is his promises?

tongue AdvancedObama didn't run as an anti-war candidate, he ran on Change, and he couldn't even keep that promise. He's a good guy and he does what he can, but Obama's just another politician who tells people what they want to hear when they run for office. Really it's our fault because we elect the people who say what we want to hear instead of electing people who are realistic and don't bulls--- voters. Unfortunately people like that are hard to find.
