I'm for it, honestly. If someone is that dangerous, they need to be eliminated forever.
-
I think I'm against, if they're that dangerous then that's why they're in prison so they can't hurt anyone again. So what more does killing them do? They should be in prison for life though.
-
Here's the thing though, ILL. You can escape prison, but no one can escape hell.
-
You are aware people still get murdered in prison?
-
It's unlikely they'll escape prison and they'll go to hell in the end eventually though right?
-
Probably murdering other murderers so why do you mind that?
-
I doubt that.
The thing is, I'd only suggest the death penalty if the murder committed was especially brutal. In that case, the person is so twistedn and disgusting that they aren't even people. Especially people who experience no remorse. How will they learn their lesson? They get to live. They are, in a sense, triumphant. So cold, so twisted. They have no place on this Earth. They have no reason to live. -
idc
it's called a life sentence
if you said that some get murdered in prison anyways
why support the death penalty anyways? lol -
But how can they learn they're lesson if they're dead? I don't see how it's even a punishment because they wouldn't experience it.

^exactly

I didn't say s--- besides "I doubt that" because there are not that many murderers in jail compared to inmates of other offensives.
Think of the family. Somebody they loved, somebody that was such a big part in their life, murdered in vold blood. And yet, their murderer gets a roof over their head, a place to sleep, and three meals a day. Granted, the conditions are not the best, but it's still something. The person they killed has nothing. Their life was wrongfully cut short. And for what cost? So some evil creature can get off?
Anyways, I support it and I don't suppose my views will ever change, as I feel strongly about this. That's all I have to say. -
and sometimes they have the worst conditions possible depending on which prison they go to
uh
what -
and prison can be extremely dangerous
it is almost like the survival of the fittest
people die
people get injured
people get raped
so yeah
prison is one big hell of a punishment -
I saw a documentary about prisoners awaiting the death penalty and they did have feelings even though they were murderers and understood the scale of what they had done (some even seemed sorry) and I just felt it was wrong.
-
I've seen something similar. I don't know, I have no pity. I guess it's just a personal thing, then. Thanks for the input.
