Its not that they dont have legitimate beef... its that they take issues which are inherit to all people and all life and advertise them as if number one it only largrly applies to their group amd number two as if they are owed a change.
I acknowledge that many people would call for a change in society before they would call for a member of it to learn how to succeed in the culture. To them i say: grow up.
The problem i see with these groups is that they habe an excess of ego, lack of perspective and limited originality or capacity for independence. -
I feel you're generalizing and haven't actually done very much research on what either of these groups actually stand for. Sure, there are quite a few who have given feminism a bad name, but the heart of it is still a sound movement. And MRAs are fighting for the same thing. You seem to come from a very narrow-minded view, my friend. It doesn't always come down to, "well that person just didn't do good enough." There are unfair situations in the world and expecting people to suck it up isn't a solution. It's ignoring the problem. The ones who are trying to fix the problems and make things at least a little more right with the world are the ones you're currently bashing.

Most people whp disagree with one another tend to both walk away feeling the other is narrow minded : p doesnr mean anything.
Youre right i am generalizing, but not unreasonably. Its true that number one, there exists many many many denominations of rights activists, and that number two every singke individual within a movement has their own life and agenda. But pleading diversity doesnt exempt you from the literal definitions of the words you use to identify your ideology, and neither does good intentipns make a good person.
Now let me be clear, i neither advocate ignoring problems, nor do i base my judgement on "a few who give them all a bad name".
And as i said in the very first semtence: yes there are situations that require handling.
But the fact is, in the pursuit of self protection, reliance on social trends is just a waste of time because you cant control them. You might as well bury your head in the dirt and pretend theres no problem because so called rights movements are these social trends that play off existing ideals. Its the consequence not the catalyst of civilization reevaluating its systems.
In other words, preaching to the choir.
All of this of course is excluding the bad apples you mentioned.. Although it is worth mentioning that irrationality is widespread in all people, rights activists included
