  You know, I thought the fact that Obama is black was good too, but now I don't really think it will change the black community or improve race relations that much. What are welfare tension funds? Do you even know Slim? Anyway, I support Obama myself, but only because he's better than the alternative. Some of his actions really annoy me, however, particularly the escalation of the war in Afghanistan.

  Obama sent an extra 30,000 troops to Afghanistan, a war that really doesn't have any clear definition anymore. We aren't fighting Al-Qeada- General Patreus said just today that the number of Al-Qeada members is only in the double-digits. What we're doing I guess is trying to fight the Taliban and stabilize the country. Both objectives, however, are futile. We can't smash the Taliban because Afghans have gotten sick of our presence and see the Taliban as a liberation force, and we can't stabilize the country because Hamid Karzai's government is corrupt. There is no reason for us to be in Afghanistan any longer.
