If it works, it works. If it doesn't work, then its just a waste of time. I think what would REALLY help is making more amounts of treatment more available, instead of trying to find a way to cure a person in a month or two, find a way to give people more of a chance to recover.
Thatd be a better investment of research and money if you ask me -
HAT can last up to 5 years to complete and addicts say they feel better knowing they're in control of the treatment and feel no pressure or rush to get cured. It also helps them focus on making their lives better instead of focusing their energy on getting their fix.

Gotcha, sounds like theyre not doing good science then. It could either be the extra time they put into the treatment helping and the actual heroin has nothing to do with it. As always, more data is required.

Yeah I see what you mean about the theory behind it, but it may not necceserily help. Especially when theyre also improving the the care itself.
