i think so because it happens EVERY DAY but because she was part of the goverment the presedent even shows sympathy. i bet if she was poor and old it wouldent have even made the news.

tongue ExperiencedYea kinda, but that's not to say our society is unsympathetic to the millions of deaths that have occured due to gang violence. So really the answer is no, and really it's a pretty scary thing when people start attacking our political leaders.

I don't watch tv really so I don't see how big of a deal they're making it but I bet they are over reacting a bit cause yeah people do die all the time but yeah it definitely is something that should be on the news and it certainly does suck.

forget the stupid congresswoman. think about the others who died. the man who jumped in front of the bullet to save his wife's life. or the 9 year old girl whos life was robbed. thats what really matters...

I haven't heard to much about it but it does sound like they make more about her than they should in comparison with others. The young are the ones that matter most, they had more to live for. Sounds like a nice husband. =\

It's sad but in all honesty, I don't care. No one gives a crap about anyone else that dies so why should I care about them?

How the hell could I have forgotten the others? D: Yeah, I got to admit I feel even worse for the others who actaully died, especially the little kid :(
