It is the worst form of government except for all the others.
Personally I don't believe the United States is democratic enough due to things like the Electoral College. Nobody likes to mention this, but the Founding Fathers were basically trying to create or sustain an oligarchy with the Constitution. Hence the reason only land-owning white men could vote. They wanted to keep political decisions away from the "common man" as much as possible.
So yeah, liberal bourgeois democracy is a good way of putting it. -
Democracy is one of the most vaguely define words in human history. Some perceive it as freedom.jpg while others perceive it as subjugation with a pretty little label with a fancy font, you know like from the label makers they got at office max and s---.
