  We really don't need money in our lives. But, we need it to maintain basic life essential values to live on and on, also used for entertainment and make a civilization. If we had no money, we would all be in debt and poor. The only rich ones would be the out-of ordinary celebrities of course. But, all you need is love and warmth and sprinkle of miracles to survive.

  We only need money because the system demands it. It is a means of exchange of private property. When there is no private property, money becomes unnecessary.

  If there's no private property, than what's to stop someone from taking what is rightfully mine? If I put in the effort, time and knowledge to create a really nice watch, why should it be taken from me simply because I have no right to it?
  
  Unless of course, you define 'private property' as strictly land, which would be a foolish assumption to make, as the same argument can apply.

  There's a distinction between private and personal property. I really suck at explaining it, though, so here's a quote from Marx.
