Let's leave his wife out of it. It is his indiscretions alone we should focus on.
I personally have less of an issue with his actions than I do with the way he has handled himself. He comes off as a real arrogant jackwad who thinks he can get away with anything. The fact that he kept sexting even after getting caught, even doing a People Magazine interview where he said he was a changed man, all that is so much scummier than what he was doing in the first place. Elliot Spitzer at least had the decency to resign as governor the minute "Client 9" became public.
I don't live in NYC, but I live in the same state, which means that any time I say I'm from New York people assume I'm from the city. So Weiner is representative of my state as far as I am concerned. I'm hoping New Yorkers do the right thing and say no to this scumbag and elect Christine Quinn or anyone else as mayor.
