College tutition costs insanely a lot. And a lot of our high schools suck. In my opinion everyone should be given the oppertunity to receive the truth facts and learn what they want. A "one size fits all" high school curriculum just won't work. If we empowered more students to research what they want to do, give them the resources and gave them the training, I bet there'd be less dropouts and more productive people.
In the end it depends on the person's choices. If they choose to take advantage of their oppertunities and people who want to help them that's great. If they choose to be bums, that's the lifestyle they wanted.

tongue NewbieAgreed. Higher education should be about aptitude, not money. The government should be helping to send people from poor families to college, though the government does kind of do that. As for secondary school education, I haven't a clue, but all of the bureaucracy and regulation is pretty stifling.
