Yes, even George Washington told the country as he resigned from office to stay away from political parties, they would tear the country apart. Was he right? I believe he was.

Political parties are basically just sports teams you can vote for. It is less about actually affecting change and more about supporting your team. Anyone who thinks they are affecting change by voting along party lines is either lying to themselves or severely mentally handicapped.

Da Boss NoviceDid anyone ever notice it has been forever since we had an independent elected president? I think they get less advertising because everyone loves the political drama. There is hope for agreeableness (if that's a word). My friends and I will discuss topics and figure out a solution that would be best for everyone, and we can have severely different views on an issue. You know the government is f'd up when a group of 15 to 17 year-olds can figure out solutions, but men and women who want to college for politics can't. Many of them go to college to be lawyers, so they know how to lie and deceive.
